General Flow of events for a Wedding Ceremony & Reception

Feel free to modify this order to suit your own preference

1. Guest arrive & seated for wedding ceremony

2. Wedding ceremony

3. Wedding Receptions begins with a Cocktail Hour

4. Arrival of your guests at Reception site

5. Introduction of the Bride & Groom (usually into their first dance)

6. Bride and Groom's First Dance

7. Toast

8. Blessing 

9. Dinner

10. Cake Cutting

11. Special Parent dance (Bride and her Father)

12. 2nd Special dance (optional) Groom and his mother

13. Invite everyone to begin dancing (Dance floor officially opens)

14. Dancing usually starts with slower songs, then the tempo builds

15. Last Dance (Fair well song) Let the DJ know if you want guests to make a circle around bride and groom.
